27/4/26 Hip Impingement Physiotherapy

Jack attended NE Physio in Newcastle upon Tyne with hip impingement symptoms that were significantly affecting their ability to play golf. They reported pain in the front of the hip during rotational movements, stiffness when swinging through the backswing and follow-through, and discomfort after walking the course. These symptoms had begun to limit both performance and enjoyment of the sport.

A structured rehabilitation programme was implemented focusing on improving hip joint mobility, reducing irritation, and restoring rotational control through the hips and pelvis. Treatment included hands-on physiotherapy, targeted strengthening of the glutes and deep hip stabilisers, and progressive return-to-rotation exercises specific to the golf swing. Load management strategies were also introduced to allow continued participation in modified practice. Over the course of rehabilitation, the patient experienced reduced pain, improved hip rotation, and a return to playing golf with greater confidence and consistency.

20/2/26 ACL Physiotherapy

Will has been seeing the physios at NE Physio in Newcastle for years. He had an ACL reconstruction and struggled for a long time where he made little progress with his rehabilitation. He came to us needing help. Following a thorough, hands on assessment, we were able to provide valuable insight into where things we going wrong and tailor his rehab to his needs. He has since got back to long distance running and contact spots consistently.
