What should I bring to an appointment?
Ahead of your appointment, if you have any relevant scans, reports or letters please send them to us via email in advance
What should I wear?
You should wear clothes that are loose-fitting and easy to move in. If your problem is from the hip down, a pair of shorts would be ideal. If you have a shoulder problem, a sports top or vest would be ideal so that your therapist can see the shoulder joint.
What happens in an appointment?
The typical initial appointment follows a sequence of assessment, treatment & rehabilitation. During the assessment we will make it clear what we believe your problem is & how we plan to resolve it. Treatment & rehabilitation will be very engaging with our primary aim being that you leave with confidence and reassurance how to achieve your goals.
What happens after your appointment?
After your appointment you will be sent a follow up email containing videos and details of your rehabilitation plan so you have no doubts that you are doing the wrong thing between appointments.
If you booked through the online portal you will be asked to make payment on booking confirmation. Alternatively, you will be sent a payment link ahead of your appointment via email.
What if I need further investigations?
At NE Physio we are able to give professional guidance on whether further investigations may be necessary. We are able to refer for medical imaging when necessary.
How do I pay?
We do not take any deposit however take payment on arrival. Alternatively you can bank transfer prior to the appointment to save time.
Can I use health insurance?
Yes. We accept the following providers:
Bupa, Allianz, AXA, Aviva, WPA.

How do I access NE Physio?
Located upstairs in the NE1 Fitness Gym
Address: The Warehouse, Spring Garden Lane, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 5TD
Entrance is via the back of the building
Metro: 9 Minute Walk from St James' Metro Station
Parking: Available outside the gym. During busier periods there is parking locally on the surrounding streets.
